Sending Email Reports Using iCloud

If you want Arq to send an email report and you want to use iCloud’s SMTP server, use settings like this:

• From Address: <your iCloud email address>
• To Address: <your iCloud email address>
• SMTP hostname: smtp.mail.me.com
• SMTP Port: 587
• Check “Use STARTTLS”
• Authentication Type: Password (SASL PLAIN)
• User Name: <your iCloud email address>
• Password: <your app-specific password>

For the app-specific password, create one from your Apple ID account page.
