Sending Email Reports Using Google

If you want Arq to send an email report and you want to use Google’s SMTP server, use settings like this:

• SMTP hostname: smtp.gmail.com
• SMTP Port: 587
• Click: Enable SSL (STARTTLS)
• Authentication Type: Password (SASL PLAIN)
• User Name: <full Gmail email address>
• Password: <Google-generated app password>
