Securing Access to Arq

To ensure that unauthorized people can’t open Arq and modify or delete your backup data, set a password:

1. Click Settings on the left.
2. Click the “Set…” button next to “App password” and choose a password.

Once you’ve set a password, each time you open Arq you’ll be prompted to enter that password.
